In a challenging business environment, Mr. Segal led the dramatic growth of Dormont. He quickly built and managed high-performance teams, implementing a series of best practices and scalable world-class management processes. Mr. Segal was active in leading industry trade associations and has been a speaker at numerous conferences and industry events. He served on the Board of NAFEM and is a member of YPO/WPO. Mr. Segal has also worked to make government more efficient, bringing his management acumen and innovative thinking to his role as Chief Financial Officer at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Successfully expanded a high-growth multi-national business, increasing sales from $5 to $60 MM, creating over 250 jobs, developing a global customer base and implementing a series of business improvement processes including Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing. Dormont was an industry leader, introducing a series of innovative new products that changed the appliance and foodservice industries. From 1987 to 2006 (19 years) Strategic Planning/Marketing @ Scott Paper was a leading manufacturer of consumer and commercial paper products. Mr. Segal served as a Senior Financial Planning Analyst in the Packaged Products Division. He was subsequently promoted to be the Wiper Brand Marketing Manager in the Away-From-Home Division.
