Work experience at Steele Preservation:In August 2018, Emily Hobbs co-founded Steele Preservation with her longtime friend and colleague Collin Steele. The company is dedicated to protecting ancient manuscripts from damage and loss, and currently employs three people.As Talent Acquisition Advisor at Verily, Hobbs was responsible for accompaning the company’s five new hires in the summer of 2019. Additionally, she worked with the company’s global data and analytics team, assisting them with mastering new technologies and streamlining their operations.In July 2019, Emily Hobbs was promoted to Corporate Recruiter at Cigna. Here, she was responsible for hunting for new talent within our rapidly growing company and trying to keep things running smoothly. The most notable accomplishment of Hobbs’s time at Cigna was obtaining a great contract with the company.From March 2017 to July 2018, Hobbs was Branch Operations Manager at MAU Workforce Solutions. Here, she was responsible for managing and running the company’s branches.
