Elham Fardad has been working in the accounting and finance industry for over 18 years.Since joining Ernst & Young in 2002, Elham has held a number of key management roles, including that of a Senior Manager in Group Reporting, Head of Finance and Quality at News International, and of Finance Manager Europe & Asia at GE Energy.During her time at Ernst & Young, Elham has worked on a number of assignments for the past 10 years, including for the Committee on Financial Reporting at the UK government and the independent financial experts group finra.In June 2018, Elham was appointed as a Regional Director for the European Markets Directorate at GE Energy, responsible for the day-to-day running of GE's European operations.

He then moved back to London, this time as the Finance Manager for GE Energy from 2014 until 2016.From 2016 until his current position at Ernst & Young, Elham Fardad has been the Head of Finance & Quality at News International. In this role, he is responsible for developing and implementing new financial software for the company, as well as overseeing the financial reporting system. Additionally, he is also responsible for oversight of the operations of the company’s accounting and financial reporting system.Lastly, Elham Fardad has Irish citizenship and has worked in the United Kingdom and Ireland. He began his career as a Graduate Trainee at Haines Watts in 2003. There, he focused on Concessions Accounting involving food and drink. From there, he moved on to working as an Assistant Accountant with Compass Group UK & Ireland in 2006. Following this, he worked as an Intermediate Accountant at Severn Trent Plc. from 2007 until 2011. From there, he moved on to working as a Concessions Accountant at Compass Group UK & Ireland from 2011 until 2016. Finally, he moved back to Haines Watts in 2016 and is currently a Graduate Trainee at the firm.
