💼 Past Experience

Elena Pozuelo’s years of experience in the legal industry include three years as a Legal Director of a European law firm, Aniel, from 1987 to 1990. There, Elena worked on a range of legal issues, including, among others, the drafting of legal Memoranda of Understanding for export contracts, cases concerning the merger of two companies, and the review of airplane safety regulations. As President at Adigital from January 2007 to May 2017, Elena supervised a team of lawyers working on a range of legal issues reflecting the company’s growing digital presence and future business plans. She also responsibilities included developing and leading the company’s external legal team, as well as acting as a first responder to legal problems that arose in the company’s digital space. In her previous role as a Board Member at Meta4, Elena played a key role in the company’s growth and dTLD registry development. While at CEOE, Elena also served as the President of Directors Plus, which is a not-for-profit membership organization representing directors with experience in the digital economy. In January 2000 Elena was appointed as a Director at AECE, an online commerce association. At AECE, Elena served as the Director of Marketing Directo, leading a team that developed and implemented marketing strategies for the association’s online presence.
