Eric Jourdain has been working in the industry of hospitality for nearly 20 years. He began his career at the most iconic hotel in Paris, San Carlo, where he was head of the wine and beer sales department. He then worked for two years at lengthened San Remo, before joining the celebrated M VACANCES. At M VACANCES, Eric ran the wine and beer sales department, as well as the marketing, public relations, and communications arm. He also held several other managerial positions at the company, most notably as Deputy Director from January 2002 until January 2013.Eric was born in Alainville, France in 1965 and has always been interested in food and beverage. After earning hisdegree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Technology, Sydney, he undertook a administrative post at Laguiole in the Normandy region of France. He then worked in the wine and beer industry for two years, before moving to the UK to take up a position as Head of Marketing at Grosvenor hotel. Jourdain left Grosvenor to take up the role of Ambassador and Director of Customer Service at the recently merged Gordon RamsayCuisine Group.Eric has won several awards, both within the hospitality industry and outside it, for his work in marketing, public relations, and communications. He currently holds the position of Director of Communication at the Italian restaurant group Ottaviano.
