Dr Vanderhoven's professional experience demonstrates his ability to bring people together to create impact. Director of a biotech expert company, Governor of a university board, and Medical Doctor. Dr Vanderhoven has a wealth of experience working in the biotechnology industry, having most recently worked as Research Development Manager - Faculty of Science at The University of Sheffield from January 2013 to June 2014. In this position, he was responsible for developing and managing research projects within the Faculty of Science at The University of Sheffield. In this way, he was able to contribute to thedisciplinary work of the School of Science at The University of Sheffield, and help to drive cultural change within the Faculty of Science. I got interested in industrial biotechnology because I realized that there is a lot of potential in this field. One of the things thatsets my skills apart from other experts in the field is my ability to bring together the public and private sectors to create impact.
