From January 2012 to January 2015 (3 years 1 month) Orientation Adventure Coordinator @ -Collaborated with the Orientation Adventure (OA) hiring committee to interview and recruit 80 student leaders from an applicant pool of more than 150. -Collaborated with Program Director to streamline hiring process by introducing a more efficient interviewing and scoring procedure that enabled the hiring committee to cut down the decision making process by half. -Worked with team of 4 coordinators to plan the 2014 OA that sent out the entire incoming freshmen class along with 80 student leaders into the wilderness for 4 days. -Organized and lead week-long leader training schedule for 80 OA leaders. -Managed a $140K project budget to cover transportation, food, lodging, permits, guides and tours for trips to 13 different locations. -Maintained constant communication with students, parents, leaders, etc, throughout the summer via email, phone and social media outlets. From May 2014 to August 2014 (4 months) Assistant Program Coordinator - International Initiatives Office @ -Worked with co-program assistant to assist former director of UNAIDS introduce the new International Initiatives Office at Pomona College -Helped plan and advertise internationally themed events sponsored by the office and other programs -Launched and managed office website and social media accounts to advertise events and provide resources for students to promote student work, and research opportunities abroad. -Collaborated with several student organizations, academic departments and and administrative offices to develop an information hub connecting all aspects of Pomona's international activity both on and off campus.
