Derek's education experiences in Stanislaus weren't generally as successful as they would have otherwise been. Upon graduating from college, Derek found himself struggling to find a job in his field of study. After numerous job applications, Derek eventually landed a position as a data entry worker for a local business. However, the position was not without its own set of challenges. Derek was constantly fighting against hesitance and difficulty while trying to learn the intricacies of his new job. In an effort to help improve his work readiness, Derek enrolled in a course to learn how to faster learn new information. This course was successful in teaching Derek how to better process data and to be more efficient with his time. Derek has since been able to successfully transition to a new career, which has placed him in a higher position within his company. In his free time, Derek enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
