My last year and a half of work in Physical Therapy has been as the clinic director in a new new physical therapy company. We incorporated the company 2 weeks before I saw my first patient there. I have been working hard to set up office operations, insurance contracts, and a network of referring physicians, all while doing my favorite work activity, treating patients!
Previous to that, I spent the 8 years as an out-patient orthopedic physical therapist, the last 4 of which were as a clinic director.
I focus on building a trust with my patients through our rehabilitation that really allows them to let down their walls so we can get at the true impairments and work out their dysfunctions.
My focus on manual therapy has really allowed me to assess my patients' dysfunction on a tissue level. I truly thank each patient for the trust they've allowed me, and opportunity for me to continue learning through each treatment.
