David Andrew serves as the Senior Director of Lead Identification at the Tri-Institutional Therapeutics Discovery Institute, Inc., where he leverages his extensive 20 years of experience in Immunology and Oncology to drive innovative drug discovery initiatives. His role is pivotal in leading a specialized group focused on generating and characterizing hybridoma and phage-derived monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) across various therapeutic areas, including Immune-Oncology, Oncology, and Immunology. Collaborating closely with principal investigators from esteemed institutions such as Sloan Kettering, Weill Cornell, and Rockefeller University, David ensures that the development of monoclonal antibodies aligns with cutting-edge research and clinical needs.

Under his leadership, the team is dedicated to advancing drug discovery through the generation of standard mAbs, CARs, bites, ADCC, and ADC approaches, utilizing both in-house capabilities and partnerships with contract research organizations (CROs). David's expertise in target validation, high throughput screening (HTS), and lead optimization phases of drug discovery is instrumental in navigating the complexities of biologics and small molecule programs. He has successfully supervised teams of degree and PhD scientists, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation that enhances in vitro and in vivo immunology support.
