As the Deputy Director of the 735th Supply Chain Operations Group (735 SCOG) at the Air Force Civilian Service, Darrell Moore plays a pivotal role in enhancing the logistics supply chain to ensure maximum aircraft availability for the U.S. Air Force. With an impressive 36 years of supply chain experience—28 of which were spent on active duty—Darrell is deeply committed to supporting our warfighters through efficient logistics operations. His motto, “Puttin MICAP outta Business,” reflects his proactive approach to minimizing Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAP) situations, thereby ensuring that operational readiness is maintained at all times.

In his current role, Darrell shares full responsibility with the Commander for leading a diverse team of over 600 personnel. Together, they provide comprehensive global supply chain support for 2,400 operational aircraft, including fighter jets, bombers, and special mission aircraft across 24 mission design series. This extensive oversight encompasses nine major commands and various main operating bases and contingency locations worldwide. His leadership is characterized by a strong focus on motivation and team development, recognizing that a well-supported workforce is essential for achieving mission success.

Darrell’s expertise extends beyond logistics; he is well-versed in program management, military operations, and national security, making him a vital asset in the Department of Defense (DoD) landscape. His skills in information assurance and security clearance further enhance his capability to navigate complex military environments.
