Daniel Idika serves as the Chief Internal Auditor at Chemonics International, where he plays a pivotal role in enhancing the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the Global Health Supply Chain – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project. With over 15 years of experience in financial management, Daniel has developed a robust expertise in overseeing diverse financial functions, including operational finance management and grants management within non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and private voluntary organizations (PVOs). His international experience spans across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and Liberia, where he has successfully navigated complex financial landscapes and regulatory environments.

In his current role, Daniel leads a dedicated team of ten professionals, establishing and refining the Internal Audit function to ensure compliance and transparency across all financial operations. His strategic oversight encompasses the entire Risk Management System, focusing on critical areas such as Planning and Budgeting, Accounting, Procurement, and Reporting. Daniel's commitment to stakeholder engagement and effective communication has been instrumental in fostering collaboration among various departments, enabling a cohesive approach to financial governance.

Key projects under his leadership include the implementation of comprehensive audit frameworks that enhance financial reporting accuracy and compliance management. His adeptness in variance analysis and budget management has not only improved operational sustainability but also strengthened the organization's financial resilience.
