He then studied at Drexel University in Philadelphia, where he earned a degree in economics. Herscovici grew up in a small town in New York and attended the same high school as Goldman Sachs billionaires Lloyd Blankfein and Hank Greenberg. He got his undergraduate degree from the University at Albany and his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. While at the University at Albany, Herscovici was a fraternity brother of future Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and attended summer school with future CEO's of Amazon.com, Google, and Apple. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, he spent two years at Merrill Lynch before joining the private equity firm, European raiffeisenbank Rothschild and then leaving to found his own firm, IceCap.Herscovici's professional experience includes his years as a Business Line Manager/Product Manager at Motorola, where he took on a number of product initiatives including developing new products for the Motorola Moto G, Moto 360, Moto E, and Razr. He also spent time as a VP at Comcast High-Speed Internet Services where he was responsible for product strategy and operations for Comcast's high-speed internet service plan. After leaving Comcast, he joined the board of directors for all traffic solutions and secondly as a board member for Anonos: BigPrivacy which unlocks data, and Zealot which provides customer service. He also was a member of the advisory board for the Internet of Things Consortium and the advisory board for Superpedestrian.Herscovici's interpersonal skills include his experience leading customer service and developing new products for Comcast, where he was known for his "no-nonsense" and "hard-nosed" approach to customer service. As a manager, Herscovici was also known for his focus on turning around a struggling product and his ability toNG Innovative Marketing Strategies- which he co-founded with his wife and then lieutenant at Comcast, angel investor Lisa Powell.In his personal life, Herscovici is married to angel investor Lisa Powell and has two adult children.
