📖 Summary
Installer @ T.C Resources Only seasonal work. I installed wifi networks in extreme environments for the company's largest customer, Vulcan Materials. From February 2006 to September 2006 (8 months) Atlanta, GADistrict Manager @ Vector Marketing I was a District Sales manager for Port St. Lucie, FL. I ran the day to day operations of the office, including: advertising, interviewing/hiring, training, development of sales leaders, hiring/training or receptionists, and expenses of the office. I was responsible for over $180,000 in office sales and had contributed over $400,000 in total personal and office sales to the company. After being with Vector for almost 4 years I decided to pursue other interests to further develop myself professionally. From April 2010 to November 2010 (8 months) Port St. Lucie, FloridaField Sales Manager/Assistant Manager @ Vector Marketing I did direct sales for Cutco Cutlery on an appointment basis. We worked only on recommendations, which meant that after making the sale you had to build enough rapport and trust to be recommended to other people. During the time I was with Cutco I personally sold over $60,000 worth of Cutlery products on an appointment basis, had a 70+% closing ratio, and a $240 average order. I did this around full time college classes, being active in my fraternity, and performing in leadership/managerial roles with the company. In the process, I developed phenomenal phone skills, time management skills, a capacity to build value in a quality product, and build business trust through strong ethical values. Within 9 months I was promoted to an Assistant Manager. In this role I helped run the day to day duties of the office, including: interviewing applicants, helping run team meetings, field training new representatives, and overall helping the operation run more smoothly. During the summer of 2008 I was a full time assistant manager the Tampa office had it's biggest sales summer ever at that point in time. From May 2007 to April 2010 (3 years) Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida AreaBranch Manager @ Vector Marketing I ran a summer branch office for the company in Valdosta, GA during the time I was still in college. A branch office is the exact same as a district office, except for minor differences in the pay structure and a branch office is only seasonal. This is one of the most significant growth periods in my professional career, because it gave me the opportunity to help others around me succeed. At the end of the summer, my branch office was #4 in GA (out of 15 offices) and #19 in the Eastern Region (out of 80+ offices). We did over $125,000 in sales, which was more than the last 2 branch summers there combined. I developed a team of sales leaders of which a few went on to become managers with the company. From April 2009 to September 2009 (6 months) Valdosta, GASales @ Verizon FiOS Door-2-Door Sales. Upgraded and sold to current Verizon customers. Established myself as a sales leader and started to field train many of the new recruits.
