💼 Past Experience

I am an Independent Director - Board of Directors at QuickLogic and Former Vice President at Facebook in Menlo Park, California. Let’s get the next billion people on the internet!.I have been working with the internet at its finest for over 18 years, starting out as a graduate engineer in Google’s Fiber team in Stanford, California. I then moved on to work at AOL Time Warner where I was responsible for optical transportation and data center architecture. I then joined Facebook in Menlo Park, California in 2010 and was responsible for the data center, product and engineering teams. As Vice President at Facebook in Menlo Park, I led the team which engineered and deployed the world’s first internet-of-things™ architecture, enabling people from all corners of the globe to connect through their devices. This was a monumental project, led by a group of engineers who had to build everything from a network of home-theater TVs to hundreds of millions of web pages.I am now a Independent Director - Board of Directors at QuickLogic, responsible for connecting more people to a faster internet. I am also Vice President at Facebook and have been responsible for the engineering and product teams for the past six years. I’ve been involved in a lot of defining and driving the company’s strategy, and I am very proud of the work we have done to connect people around the world. I believe that technology has the power to change the world, and QuickLogic is making a huge impact in connecting people from all corners of the world. I’m excited to see what we can do next!

Dan Rabinovitzj was born in 1986, in Austin, Texas. After earning his M.A. from The University of Texas at Austin, he spent two years working as a research associate at The RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, California. Before coming toAssistant Professor at CU Boulder in 2013, he had worked as an assistant research professor at The Ohio State University.Dan Rabinovitzj's educational background prior to joining CU Boulder poured in important nutrients and knowledge that have equipped him with the analytic and critical thinking skills needed to lead and innovate in his field of research. As a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, he possessed a wealth of knowledge in social science, political science, and history. Additionally, he has a technical background in software engineering and AI. This essential skill set has helped him develop his work readiness and deep understanding of his research field in a highly productive and critical manner.
