Damon A. Williams's Education:Damon A. Williams has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a specialization in Research & Evaluation. He also has a M.A. in Education from the University of Connecticut.Williams has been working in the field ofhigher education for over five years now. He started his career as a research associate at the University of Michigan. After developing a strong interest in programs and research within the field, Damon moved on to become a senior scholar and innovation fellow at the Equity & Inclusion Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. There, hefto a position as the Inclusive Excellence Strategy Leader at Association of American Colleges and Universities AACU. He also served as the Senior Vice President, Chief Educational and Youth Development Officer at Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Finally, Damon returned to the University of Michigan as the Managing Partner at The Williams Wade Golden (WWG) Research & Consulting Group LLC. In this role, he spearheaded a number of innovative projects, such as the development of the Inclusive Excellence Strategy for the University of Connecticut and the implementation of a mu-tasking research program at the University of Michigan.Williams has an extensive background in teaching and research. He began his career as an assistant professor at the University of Michigan and later became a program & research associate at the University of Michigan. In his current position, he oversees a number of influential programs such as the Freedom School Internship and the Site Coordinator for the Children’s Defense Fund - Black Community Crusade for Children. Additionally, he has written extensively on diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies, and has contributed to multiple books and articles.
