đź“– Summary
Skills: Enterprise and Solution Architecture, Security Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, Integration, Mergers and Acquisitions, Divestitures, WebSphere Application Server, Oracle WebLogic Server, Linux, AIX, Solaris, JavaEE, ESB, Oracle DB, integration expert; technical, infrastructure and application architecture. Most recently I have been focussing on innovation in the security space, including making use of my original Aeronautical Engineering background when looking at security in the aerospace industry; and what may have happened to MH370. My security article on the systems on a Boeing 777 and how to send the commands between systems to bring about behaviour like that on MH370 was recently published in eForensics magazine. I also write books and magazine articles, such as in Pen Testing and Hakin9 magazines; and Pro WebSphere Application Server 7 Internals. Look at the articles on SED filtering and low level IP socket use for attacks in Hakin9 magazine, and Biometrics and CRM in Pen Testing magazine. I've been an Enterprise Solutions Architect focussing on security, infrastructure, ESBs, middleware, databases and tools as well application, enterprise and technical architecture for some time now. I've contributed to and reviewed architecture books for some time, and feel we are getting towards being a true engineering discipline. Feedback on my Pro WebSphere Application Server 7 Internals book from experts inside IBM has been good. From a technical perspective. I've worked closely with IBM and Oracle on new products and facilities, written for IBM's systems magazine and have got into writing and editing books! If you want to know how WAS works, check out my "Under The Hood" work in the "Running WAS 6.1 on System P and AIX Best Practices and Optimization" RedBook and my APress Pro WebSphere Application Server 7 Internals book.
