Christopher Benson brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as a Systems Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) at VT Group (VTG), where he plays a pivotal role in advancing the Digital Transformation initiatives for an Intelligence Community customer. With a distinguished 11-year career as a Naval Officer, Christopher has honed his leadership skills by managing both small and large teams across various complex programs and projects. His tenure on executive-level staff within the Navy has equipped him with a unique perspective on strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

At VTG, Christopher advises multiple Government Points of Contact (GPOCs) on best practices in Digital Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). His leadership in defining the schedule for the Enterprise’s Digital Transformation of Configuration Management (CM) underscores his commitment to modernizing processes that enhance operational effectiveness. As the Enterprise lead for CM Modernization, he has not only updated all CM policies but has also taken a hands-on approach by personally modeling the entire CM process, ensuring that it aligns with contemporary engineering standards.

Christopher’s expertise extends to conducting comprehensive audits of existing systems, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that drive innovation. His strong background in project management and program development, coupled with his active TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph, positions him as a trusted advisor in the Intelligence Community.
