Born in Padua, Italy, Chiara Scalcon holds a degree in theoretical mathematics from Università degli Studi di Padova, where she also completed her undergraduate studies. After completing her undergraduate studies, Chiara moved to Italy and finished her graduate studies at the Liceo G.B. Brocchi, where she holds a Master's degree in Mathematics. Chiara has worked as a research mathematician for several Italian research institutions and also has taught mathematics and college mathematics courses in Italy and in the United States. Chiara is currently a Visiting Professor at the University of Utah in the Department of Mathematics.
