I am an attorney licensed to practice in Texas. I graduated cum laude from SMU Dedman School of law in 2014, and I currently work for Ted B. Lyon & Associates in Mesquite, Texas. Our law firm specializes in plaintiff’s litigation––mainly representing people severely injured or killed through the negligence of others. My practice consists of a wide variety of legal matters, including workplace injuries, automotive injuries, product liabilities, mass torts, and arbitration.
I am also an assistant prosecutor for the Municipal Court in Wylie, Texas, a small town northeast of Dallas. I work for the city because I am intrigued by criminal law, and it affords me the opportunity to pick juries and try cases much more often than I can as a civil lawyer.
While I was in law school I first-chaired several trials and picked several juries as a student prosecutor for the Wylie Municipal Court. Also during law school, while clerking for another Dallas firm, I helped represent professional basketball players and agents in several international arbitrations––winning over half a million dollars in arbitration awards against international teams.
Prior to law school, I played basketball at Midwestern State University where I graduated with a degree in kinesiology and a minor in mathematics. I was the captain of the basketball team my senior year, a two-time academic all-conference selection, won two conference championships, and finished my career top 20 in scoring and top 15 in rebounding in school history. After college, I went on to play professional basketball in Europe for eight years in Belgium, Cyprus, Germany, Poland, Spain, Sweden, and Turkey.
I am passionate about the law and believe my work as a plaintiff’s lawyer helps make our society safer.
