From October 2013 to Present (2 years 3 months) Senior IT Recruiter @ The bulk of my recruitment was traditional IT, but I did also cover Pharma/Medical, Telecom/Mobile & Core Network, Functional Recruitment (administrative, finance & accounting), Supply Chain professionals, etc. Search engagements included contingent contract, contract-2-hire and direct hire positions. Additionally was engaged as the sole recruiter on several retained executive searches (VP of IT's) for a major client positioning for a major growth push/realignment.
Infrastructure recruitment included Storage Engineers (EMC, SAN, VMAX, NetApp, Clariion, etc), Shared Systems Engineers (hybrid SAN/NetApp & VMware for cloud IaaS firm), Unix Admininstrators (RHEL, HP-UX, etc.), Windows Administrators (traditional Exchange/AD/IIS/Cluster Server - LARGE enterprise engineers/complex environment), Windows Engineers/Systems Engineers, Network Engineers (wide variant of sorts, Nexus project engineers to Cisco UCCX), Custom Solution Engineers (post sales buildout/IaaS).
Nontechnical recruitment covered Pharm.D (preceptor level), Strategic Sourcing Executives, VP's of Supply Chain Operations (healthcare/hospital), Director of Supply Chain, Procurement Directors, Contract Managers, Project Managers, Master Schedulers, Financial Analyst, Contract Analyst, Senior Director of New BD - APAC expansion, etc.
Telecom (protocol stack, IOT and conformance testers) and InfoSec recruitment covered as well. From August 2010 to September 2013 (3 years 2 months) Executive Recruiter @ Independent consultant partnered with a large proprietary education client through a large growth period. Recruitment covered 4 regions within Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arizona. ALL positions were for Executive Management and included: Director of Admissions, Director of Career Services, Regional Director of Career Services, Campus President / Executive Director, Director of Education, Staffing Specialist, Director of Financial Aid, Regional and Divisional Director's of Financial Aid, and Regional VP's of Operations. Utilized lots of cold-calling and direct recruitment through various publications and accreditation entity listings (ACCSC, ABHES, ACICS, COE, CCST, etc). Recruitment was on a NATIONWIDE level, and subsequently all placements made with this client were all relocations. Worked very closely with candidates through the interviewing process (some as long as 5+ months) all the way through relocation and on-boarding. FULL life-cycle recruitment. From 2009 to 2010 (1 year) IT Recruiter @ Sentari Technologies is an IT consulting / recruiting company based in Dallas, TX. We partner with clients with large complex IT projects for contract based positions, and also difficult to find contract-2-hire and perm positions as well.

From 2006 to 2009 (3 years) Recruiter @ Aerotek provides technical (non-IT), professional, and industrial recruiting and staffing, and is a part of the Allegis Group, which is one of the world's largest privately held staffing companies. Allegis Group's other best known recruiting company is TEKsystems.
I was specifically in the Aerotek Professional Services division (APS), and recruited for Administrative & Professional, Accounting & Finance, Mortgage Banking, and Call Center. I gained experience recruiting on long-term & short-term contract assignments, contract-2-hire positions, and direct placements.
Aerotek services many large corporations on a national level with secured service level agreements, but also strives to balance the national business with local or "market" clients for overall business stability. They hire entry level grads out of college. Extremely fast-paced environment (as most staffing companies are), quick to transition and adapt to change, great company to learn the ropes from.
