Calvin Chock's Work experiences:Chief Product Officer, Clover Health I was a VP of Product and Engineering at McKesson from November 2007 to May 2012. I was responsible for leading all aspects of the design, development and QA of our industry leading, oncology focused SaaS EMR/EHR applications as well as enterprise reporting within the second largest division of McKesson. In addition to applications, I'm also responsible for all aspects of our enterprise data warehouse design and ETL.In my role at McKesson, I successfully led the design, development and QA of our company's top selling, oncology focused SaaS EMR/EHR products. My projectsfocus included developing and engineering a suite of healthcare reports for our providers and pharmaceutical companies, primarily through a Java based web application and business intelligence framework. My team also focused on developing and executing a rapid design and Delivery of ASP and JSP applications. I also led a team of 375 talented engineers who work across two locations in San Francisco Bay Area.One of the highlights of my time at McKesson was my time as the Chief Product Officer. I was responsible for leading the strategy and design of our industry leading, oncology focused SaaS EMR/EHR products as well as our company's internal insurance operations services. Clover Health's cutting-edge consumer-facing applications aggregate a wide collection of clinical data sources and leverage innovative diagnosis and care coordination machine learning models to deliver best-in-class solutions for managing our membership. In addition to developing and executing high-priority products, I also assisted the sales and business development team on numerous occasions to sell our healthcare informatics reports to leading pharmaceutical companies and data vendors.I believe that my experience and skills are superfluous to the jobs that I am offered, and that I would make a better product manager or engineer. I actively look for opportunities to learn more about new technologies and to apply my knowledge in a new field.
