Responsible for maintaining the Rising Star Outreach WebPages and maintain all social media platforms.
Responsible to work with the Executive Director to create strategies for all Rising Star Outreach fundraising events. Lead for all events and delegate assignments to volunteers and team members to see events are executed efficiently with a positive outcome. Maintains primary responsibility for all marketing relating to events, oversees the pre and post follow up for donors, sponsors and guests of the events.
Oversee and manage the Sponsorship and Volunteer Program Managers. From August 2013 to October 2014 (1 year 3 months) Director of Programs @ Manage and maintain the Sponsorship and Volunteer programs in the United States and India. Duties included recruitment of volunteers, raising funds through the volunteer program, recruiting long-term coordinators, training coordinators to ensure positive experiences for volunteers, monitoring all volunteer programs to ensure quality experiences for volunteers, maintaining relationships/keeping in touch with former volunteers. When appropriate, soliciting former volunteers to become donors and to refer others. Organized over 190 international volunteers travel arrangements per year.
Developing communication strategies to build and enhance relationships with sponsors (over 800) to students (230+), maintaining current sponsorships, maintaining and improving website/printed material information regarding sponsorships, recruiting new sponsors, billing and Donor Perfect integration. From October 2012 to August 2013 (11 months) Provo, Utah AreaSponsorship Director @ Volunteer position for international non-profit organization located in rural India focusing on lifting the stigma of leprosy. Improve and maintain communication between students at the Peery Matriculation School and their sponsors. Update and maintain current database to track communication and sponsorship status. Collaborate with USA team to create and implement improved sponsor retention practices. Develop marketing strategy for volunteer and sponsorship retention as well as prospecting for new. Document day-to-day life in India both in and out of Rising Star Outreach through photography, videography, blogging, etc. Research and implement process and organization improvements. Aid in organization for all short term volunteer activities while in country, provided medical aid to volunteers and patients in colonies and provided English tutoring to students ages 5-16. From May 2012 to October 2012 (6 months) Sales and Marketing Manager @ Continue to have the responsibilities of the Sales Associate along with additional managerial responsibilities. On call weekends, scheduling and payroll, workplace effectiveness, training of staff, process improvements, vendor accounts and monthly sales
progress and status reports. Initiated and maintain all Social Networking sites for the Conference Center including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Maintain and negotiate the Yelp! account including feedback, content and special offers. Provide back up for other managers including Front Desk, Meeting Planning, General Office Conference Center, Housekeeping/ Janitorial and Set Up. Acted as first respondents for PG&E’s Alternate Control Headquarters (ACHQ) in the event of emergency. This required drills, set up, testing and tear down.
