Bryan Poort is a seasoned IT professional with over 27 years of experience, specializing in Taxware and its integration with SAP systems. Currently, he serves as the sole Taxware IT resource for Colgate North America, Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals, and Hills Pet. His extensive expertise encompasses the configuration, installation, and upgrade of Taxware systems, particularly in conjunction with SAP environments. Bryan played a pivotal role in the initial installation of Taxware during the SAP project for Hills Pet on SAP version 3.0d, laying the groundwork for seamless operations across the three Colgate entities.

In his current role, Bryan is responsible for maintaining four production instances with both database and application servers, ensuring that the Taxware systems operate efficiently and effectively. His technical skill set includes proficiency in ABAP, Ksh, and Csh scripting languages, as well as legacy programming languages such as RPG and COBOL.
