Brian Nickerson

Brian J. Nickerson, PhD, JD, MPA, FACHE, serves as the Senior Evaluation Lead at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he plays a pivotal role in advancing the Institute for Translational Sciences under the NIH Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) program. With a robust background in higher education and extensive experience in public and health care management, Brian is dedicated to fostering innovation and excellence in translational research. His leadership is instrumental in the design and implementation of strategic program evaluations that enhance the efficacy of educational initiatives and research projects.

In his current role, Brian is responsible for launching and managing both online graduate and in-person training programs that focus on critical areas such as health care leadership, management, and biomedical entrepreneurship. His expertise in new market and program development allows him to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the biomedical landscape, ensuring that the programs he oversees are not only relevant but also impactful.
