After completing his PhD at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Media Science, Bradley Horowitz joined the faculty at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1993, where he has been a research associate and then a professor of Media Science since then. In his time at MIT, Horowitz was the lead writer of a popular media science textbook, Principles of Digital Media. He also hasauthored a number of research articles related to digital media, as well as a popular online resource on media science.Horowitz is currently considered one of the world's leading experts on media science, having authored or co-authored more than 100 articles and books on the topic. He has served on various editorial boards for various media science journals, and his work has been cited more than 1,500 times in the scientific and academic literature. Horowitz is also a regular speaker at media science conferences around the world.Despite his extensive experience, Horowitz is still very new to the world of media science, and he regularly responds to questions from newly minted media science graduates on his blog. He is currently the Hart Hauser Professor of Media Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and he is also working on a new book on media science that he plans to release in 2019.
