When Bob Truog started his first job in the late seventies, he was wise to the fact that companies such as CBS and Time Warner were always looking for new and innovative ideas to keep their companies competitive. So before long, he had founded Physicians EmploymentIndustry (later renamed Physicians EmploymentIndustry of Hospital and Health Care) which was a company that specialized in the placement of nurses, CNA's and other healthcare support staff in the rapidly developing hospitals and health care facilities.Bob Truog was always a huge proponent of entrepreneurship and the opportunity it afforded businesses and employees. So when he found out that a rival company, Rofheart Energy Futures, was in trouble, he got right on it and helped to turnaround the company. He then founded RDT Trading, which was a trading company that did a lot of business in the oil and gas industry.Bob Truog was also very active in the Democratic Party and was chairman of the Harrisburg County Committee on Elections from 1998-2000. He was also a delegate to the 2000 Presidential Election.Although he no longer works in the healthcare industry, Bob Truog is still very active in the business world and is still a Patron at the Girard comeback accelerator. He also has an ownership share in the Harrisburg County-based Foothills Realty Properties.
