As the Founder of M&A we have focused on Health and Welfare, Qualified Retirement Plans, Executive Benefits and Estate/Financial planning for the executives in the companies our Firm represents. M&A has approximately 100 corporate clients, most of which are publicily traded.
In September of 2011, Mercer acquired the Health and Welfare Plan as well as the Retirement Plan Practices of M&A. Mahoney and Associates, Inc. will continue in a Joint Venture arrangement with Mercer going forward. Having sold the benefits practice to Mercer, M&A now focus' our efforts on executive benefits and estate/financial planning for the executives in the companies that M&A represents. Our proprietary KESBPtm (Key Executive Secured Benefit Plan) concept has now been adopted by several large NYSE companies and continues to gain significant traction.
MFO, Inc. (Mahoney Financial Organization, LLC) has a 51 year relationship with the New York Life Insurance Company and Bill has led the New York Life in total production in both 2005 and 2006, therefore being recognized as the New York Life Council President and Chairman of the Advisory Board of Directors respectively. Bill remains on the Advisory Board of Directors for the New York Life so the close "partnership" between the two organizations continues.
