Banks Wilson's education began in 1998 with a BFA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Wilson then returned to UNC Charlotte and earned her MFA in Graphic Design in 2001.Since 2001, Banks Wilson has enjoyed a variety of creative experiences working in various media including print, web, and mobile applications. Wilson's past projects have ranged from Logo designing for a minor-league baseball team to concept art and design for a children's television show. Most notably, Wilson created and designed the advertising campaign for the e-reader toy device known as the Amazon Kindle.Wilson has shown her skills as an artist and designer at various professional levels and is currently pursuing her fourth degree in Illustration from Florida Atlantic University.workshop: Logo Design for a Minor-league Baseball TeamIn 2006, Banks Wilson undertook a six-month workshop with the talented team at studio Lighthouse in New York City. During this course, Banks was learn how to create and design logos for a minor-league baseball team. The send-off for the team’s first season was a glamorous one with a huge launch party at Giants Stadium.
