My experience spans over 24 years in local and export markets and in senior marketing roles for iconic New Zealand companies such as Farmers Trading Company and Ziera Shoes.
I offer the know-how in the breadth and depth of marketing ranging from consumer product marketing to manufacturing, from e-commerce to service marketing.

A key channel is LinkedIn which is not well understood in New Zealand. I work with businesses to maximise LinkedIn for them and their company. This includes increasing their online visibility and be found and to generate leads through social media.

This is a unique hub for Homeowners, Property Managers and Project Managers to identify prescreened Trades and Services Professionals in the building industry such as builders, plumbers, painters and tilers. From October 2007 to Present (8 years 3 months) Group Marketing Manager @ Pumpkin Patch is a NZ public listed company which designs, wholesales and retails fashionable children’s clothing globally. The brands sold within Pumpkin Patch Limited include Pumpkin Patch, Urban Angel, Charlie & me and most recently online Patch General Store. It has 180 company owned retail stores in Australasia and Ireland. The annual turnover is $358m and employs over 2000 employees globally.
As the Group Marketing Manager I was responsible for the retail and digital marketing across Pumpkin Patch, Urban Angel and Charlie & me brands in Australia, New Zealand and online for UK and US.
My role at Pumpkin Patch included

> Cost efficiencies and budget management From February 2011 to November 2013 (2 years 10 months) Head of Marketing @ Ziera Shoes (previously known as Kumfs Shoes NZ) is a New Zealand family business that designs, wholesales and retails women’s fashion comfort footwear. The annual turnover is over $60 million with approximately 360 employees globally. Ziera wholesales to nearly 700 retailers globally including Australia, USA, Canada and Singapore. The retail/ franchise division of Ziera has 45 retail outlets across New Zealand and Australia and California.
As the Head of Marketing, my responsibilities included international marketing strategy and business development for both the wholesale and retail channels
This includes:
> Business development in Australia, Hong Kong, America and NZ
> Partnerships development as part of business to business referral strategy
> 3 year company wide rebranding from Kumfs shoes to Ziera Shoes
> Explore customer insights and embed the key findings across the company
> Product development of gifts including sourcing, buying and stock management
> Loyalty programme strategy and growth in spend and new members
> Develop visual merchandising concepts for retail stores From May 2005 to January 2011 (5 years 9 months) Marketing Manager- Home Division @ Farmers is an iconic New Zealand department store with over 2800 full time employees and 64 retail stores nationwide. The annual turnover is over $900 million and the third largest ad spend in NZ of over $20 million. The product range includes cosmetics, clothing, toys, furniture, home textile and electronics.
During my tenure at Farmers, Retail Financial Services was the finance arm of Farmers that managed the Farmers card which at that time was the largest non- bank financial card in NZ with an excess of 400 000 active customers. Retail Financial Services was also the largest non- bank provider of consumer credit.
The overall responsibility of this role was to drive the marketing strategies and retail sales in the Home Division. This included marketing consumer finance options and marketing to the Farmers Card database.
My responsibilities in this role included:
> Formulating marketing strategies for 11 different sectors of the Home division
> Achieving sales and profit targets through growing market share and share of voice
> Lead cross functional teams to research and launch new product initiatives
