I was a former Michigan Track & Field athlete and collegiate junior when NIKE's founder Phil Knight looked me in the eyes and asked "Can you handle this?" My answer, of course was "Let's Go!" And in that moment I was leading NIKE's first ever all-school athletic sponsorship platform at The University of Michigan. It was an experiment and I made it a success. From that time on, I set forth on a continuum that I could clear any hurdle. My life has since been defined by jumping over sub-optimal situations others are apprehensive to approach.
