Where did you grow up?I grew up in a small town in central New York. I grew up playing checkers, and then violin and also played the piano. I started college at the University of New England, in Durham, N.H., in 2002. I got my degree in business administration, and then I moved to Silicon Valley to work in my first company, as a market researcher.After a few years of research, I decided to move to VMware. I applied to work at Rylem, and they offered me the job. I started working at Rylem in August 2014.What do you like most about your job?I like the team I work with. I like the opportunities to learn new things. I like the way the company listens to its employees andidisciplines. I also like working with the diversity and equity program. I also like working with the Talent Acquisition strategy.What was the most difficult part of your job?The most difficult part of my job was my role in increasing diversity within the company. I had to work with a team of managers, and I had to create effective tools to increase diversity. I also had to attend to the needs of different types of employees.
