We are an expanding organisation and have a number of open roles across our research & technical teams. Please see our website for details. I am responsible for growing our Quantitative Research teams. Our Quantitative Analysts research ideas to predict returns in global markets. They apply scientific methods from diverse disciplines including Bayesian statistics, signal processing and machine learning to discover the patterns hidden in noisy real-world financial data sets across multiple asset classes. We primarily recruit straight out of academia as we feel this best fits our culture. We pride ourselves on providing researchers with an environment where they can research independently, using skills developed from their academic careers to solve the toughest real-world financial problems. Every new joiner will have a mentor to assist them make the transition in to quantitative finance and learn the analytic techniques to carry out research. Once operational, they work in small teams developing ideas - this is a pure research role that would suit those who enjoy finding patterns & relationships in large data sets and working out how to interpret these results. The culture is relaxed, informal & very similar to an academic institution; our working hours are flexible and we offer a great work-life balance. We also offer a highly competitive remuneration package including performance-related incentives. I look forward to hearing from you!

📖 Summary
At G-Research we research investment ideas to predict returns in financial markets across multiple asset classes. We also develop the research and execution platform to deploy these ideas in markets globally. Here we give very talented people the freedom to explore the best ideas and turn them into reality within a team of like-minded others. You’ll work with inspirational people, applying science to real world problems in a relaxed yet dynamic environment. I am interested in speaking to those with academic backgrounds; specifically PhD-level mathematicians, physicists, computer scientists, statisticians & machine learning specialists. We consider penultimate and final year PhD students, post docs and other academics. We also run a summer internship programme where PhD or PostDocs can spend three months within a Quant Finance organisation and be given the chance join us full-time once they have completed their studies. We do not expect candidates to have an in-depth knowledge of Quantitative finance and are searching for mathematical, technical and research abilities. All of our researchers come from the best technical institutions in Europe and the US, with the majority joining from a top-10 worldwide university in mathematics or physics. If you're in academia and would like to discuss a possible move in to industry, please contact us on [email protected] We look forward to hearing from you.Recruiter @ We are an expanding organisation and have a number of open roles across our research & technical teams.
