Alan Dowler landed his job as an Assistant Manager at Software Etc in April 1997 after his previous position of Marketing and Direct Sales Manager at Victory Systems. championing and developing products that help small businesses succeed. After a while, he was promoted to the Director of Customer Relations where he was responsible for the entire relationship with customers. Alan Dowler spent the next few years working at CLIQ Jewelry and Superfit Inc where he became a Relationship Manager. He followed this up with a placement as Remodeling Consultant at Power Home Remodeling. Finally, he was promoted to the Director of Client Services and Service Operations at Hamilton Jewelers. During his time at Hamilton Jewelers, he was responsible for all aspects of the customer service experience. After initially leaving Hamilton Jewelers in March 2020, Alan established his own company, Alan Dowler Jewelry, Ltd. He is still actively involved in his industry and enjoys helping small businesses succeed.

Since his studies at Hopewell Valley Central High School, Alan Dowler has worked extensively in the diamond and gem industry. He has graduated from the GIA(Global Institute of diamond and gem) in October of 2022 with a degree in diamond/gem grading.
