Dr. Lachtchinina is a Board Certified Internal Medicine and Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She has been providing patients with primary care services in the Rockville, MD area with focus on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of the most common diseases. She has been counseling patients on maintenance of a healthy weigh, exercise regimens, smoking cessation, management of high blood pressure, improvement of cholesterol levels, control of blood sugar and taking medications correctly with the goal of preventing top leading medical conditions, including heart disease, stroke, diabetes, chronic lung disease, infections like pneumonia and flu, kidney disease, thyroid problems.
