The umbrella organization referred to as “Milwaukee Irish Fest” and corporately known as “Irish Festivals, Inc.” has adopted a new name, CelticMKE. Our refreshed name better reflects our mission to preserve, promote and celebrate all aspects of Irish, Irish American and Celtic cultures through year-round concerts, events, and programs. CelticMKE is home to existing brands and entities including The Ward Irish Music Archives, The Milwaukee Irish Fest Foundation, Milwaukee Irish Fest Summer School, School of Music, and our signature event, Milwaukee Irish Fest. Milwaukee Irish Fest is the world’s largest celebration of Irish music and culture and attracts people from all over the globe. The four-day festival occurs every third weekend in August and brings in hundreds of musicians and artists to perform on 17 stages at Henry Maier Festival Park on Milwaukee’s lakefront.
