Brighter Books Publishing House

Who doesn’t love books? We do, and so does everyone we know. This is why we have decided to create a brand new, visionary publishing house in Nanaimo, B.C., in the heart of Vancouver Island, dedicated to creating amazing books for children and adults. We want people to become better, we believe books can improve people’s lives, and we are here to help! We have devised new ways to ensure people get excited and involved with our books and our authors. We favour Canadian authors and illustrators, giving them an outlet that is independent from big-business red tape. We are small but we are fierce, and we want you to succeed with us. Through an agreement with Eco-Libris (www.ecolibris.net), we pledge to plant one tree for every book unit sold, which has never been done before by any publishing house. Every book we sell will have a stamp on the cover indicating a tree has been planted for it. Our printers use only FSC, PEFC and SFI certified pulp from US and Canadian sustainable forests. We focus on children's books, young adults and educational material.
