Information
About Noel Farms Noel Farms is owned and operated by the husband and wife team, Patrick Volkmann and Deborah Jackman We are located in Fredonia, Wisconsin, and have been in business since 2000. We grow vegetables, fruits, flowers, and herbs and hope to expand over the next few years to produce free range eggs and fleece from Icelandic sheep. Our business grows out of a 30 year love of gardening and rural life, which we decided to expand into a business opportunity. We are currently classified as “Transitional” growers, meaning that we follow organic farming practices, but have not yet gained official “Organic” certification. When growing our herbs, vegetables and fruits, we use no pesticides or non-organic fertilizers. We control weeds through mechanical cultivation, cover crops, and mulching, and we control harmful insects through companion planting and encouraging beneficial insects and birds to visit our gardens and fields. Our Mission Statement: Noel Farms, LLC, is committed to providing healthful, locally grown produce using the practices of sustainable agriculture, and is dedicated to preserving the traditions of small-scale farming and the rural life within the Southeastern Wisconsin area.
