Rustic chic weddings in our Historic 1800's restored barn close to Vermont, nestled between the scenic Adirondacks and Upstate New York's Hudson Valley. Seating for up to 250 in our historic 1865 Lakota's Wedding Barn. Lakota's Farm spans 36 acres and features peaceful pastoral vistas, a stream leading into 2 spring-fed ponds, 8 barns and a historic homestead. Originally part of a massive 1,200 acre property established in 1772 by James Green, the farm is rich in history. Sadly, in recent years while transitioning from a dairy farm to Buffalo farm, the farm fell into extreme disrepair. Current owners, Kimberly and Alan Finney, have restored the property to its original glory and look forward to showing you around. Here at Lakota's Farm, our goal is to exceed your expectations while creating an unforgettable experience for your families and most importantly, the Bride & Groom.
