Resolution Copper is Arizona Copper. Our project, is a proposed mine outside of Phoenix, located in Superior, Arizona. The copper from the mine will be used to produce vital products that modern society depends upon, such as electric vehicles, smartphones, renewable electricity generation and MRI scanners. Resolution Copper will also deliver significant economic growth to nearby communities and the state of Arizona by providing jobs, tax revenue, and increased local spending over the project’s 60-year lifespan. We are committed to being good stewards of the environment, protecting culture and heritage in the areas where we operate, and contributing to the long-term success of our communities. The project is a joint venture owned by Rio Tinto (55%) and BHP (45%).
