Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is located in Murdoch, 15 kilometres south of the Perth CBD and 9 kilometres east of Fremantle. The hospital is part of the Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group and the South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) hospital network. Our 783-bed public hospital includes the 140-bed State Rehabilitation Service, a 30-bed purpose-built mental health unit and the State Burns Service. We are the major tertiary hospital in the south metropolitan area and meet the growing needs of communities south of Perth and across the State. As well as delivering comprehensive clinical services, we are a leader in research and education. In addition, we have the most advanced medical equipment and state-of-the-art information and communications technology. Fiona Stanley Hospital has been designed to have a healing and therapeutic effect on patients and 83 per cent of patient rooms are single occupancy, offering increased comfort and privacy.
