They go way back to when they used to study in the same batch for IIT-JEE coaching. Shrey (All India Rank -24, IIT JEE 2012) was part of the investment team at Blume Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund where he covered Ed-Tech & Deep-tech for Blume. Previously, he co-founded SoundRex (sound technology startup) & was briefly a management consultant, while working across multiple countries (Korea, Taiwan, Philippines) in South East Asia. After graduating, Royal (All India Rank -75, IIT JEE 2012) worked in the Quantitative Finance role (strats & modeling) in Morgan Stanley. His passion for startups also made his move & work in Deep learning over Audio Processing for a Silicon-Valley based startup named DeepAffects. On the side, he also mentors Data Science students at Springboard.
