Its sugar producing companies (Südzucker AG, Saint Louis Sucre, Südzucker Polska, Raffinerie Tirlemontoise, Südzucker Moldova and AGRANA) operate a total of 21 sugar factories and 2 refineries. • Special products: BENEO produces functional ingredients for food and animal feed, Freiberger Group manufactures frozen and chilled products (e.g., pizza, pasta, snacks), and PortionPack Group specializes in portion packs for the food and non-food sectors. • CropEnergies: CropEnergies produces sustainable, renewable products from biomass such as ethanol, neutral alcohol, high-protein food and animal feed, or biogenic carbon dioxide. • Starch: The Austrian company AGRANA produces high-quality starch products that are used for a variety of applications in a wide range of industries. • Fruit: With AGRANA, the Group is one of the leading producers of fruit preparations and of fruit juice concentrates worldwide.
