NEWPORT was founded in 2004 in Hamburg, Germany by Manfred Schoenbach and Olaf Kunkat. Initially focused in the German market, NEWPORT expanded into the Swiss market in 2008 with the creation of the subsidiary NEWPORT RE AG, led by partner and board member, André Herzog. In 2016 NEWPORT was looking to add a third currency to its investment portfolio and opened the US subsidiary NEWPORT RE LP in Atlanta. Today NEWPORT employs a talented and diverse group of employees from six nations speaking German, English and French.
