Since 1980, the New Orleans School of Cooking has introduced countless visitors from around the world to the wonderful food and rich culture of New Orleans and Louisiana as a whole. The heart of the school is our daily offering of demonstration cooking classes which provide an entertaining education about the unique food, history and culture of our city served with storied New Orleans dishes that are prepared by our instructors during the classes. Over the years we've expanded to include hands-on, group, team-building and off-site classes of all kinds. The school's retail arm, the Louisiana General Store, offers our own proprietary goods as well as a "best of" selection of local and regional foods and related products.
