Peter Rose + Partners is an internationally-recognized, award-winning architecture and urban design firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. Across our professional network, we bring to bear innovative architectural and engineering disciplines with a world-leading approach to providing the best environment with the least economic and environmental cost, and an active, real-time costing, feasibility and risk management program. Whether designing a carbon-neutral urban master plan, a residential housing tower, the headquarters and training facility for a national football team, a high school addition, or a private residence, we proactively seek long-term solutions that minimize uncertainty and risk and create robust, living architecture. Peter Rose + Partners grounds each project in continuous research and testing. Deep understanding of the past and present use of the site and environs allows us to maximize each site’s opportunities and minimize its limitations. We design, test, and redesign interventions that improve utility, flexibility, value, and durability of the building and its surroundings. Our comprehensive knowledge of the latest technologies and innovations in materials and construction methods informs our innovative approaches solving complex design problems and meeting our clients’ needs. Peter Rose + Partners’ landmark projects, such as the Housing Tower at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, have won awards for sustainable design, and the practice has just completed a residence that can heat and power itself completely off-the-grid. Our longstanding relationship with Transsolar KlimaEngineering, acknowledged to be the world’s most pioneering climate engineers, has produced climate smart collaborations across a range of scales, from a master plan for a carbon-zero university campus to ecologically sensitive residences on the Martha’s Vineyard coast.
