De Nederlandse ggz is the Dutch network organisation for mental health care and addiction care services. Over a hundred members are affiliated with de Nederlandse ggz, ranging from large regional to smaller specialized mental healthcare providers. Around 89,000 professionals work in Dutch mental health care, providing care to almost one million patients per year. With its membership, the Nederlandse ggz represents more than 90% of the care and work force of the Dutch mental health care sector. Approximately sixty employees work at office of de Nederlandse ggz. They strive to represent the interests of the member organisations well as possible. De Nederlandse ggz aims to make national agreements with national and local government(s), politicians, insurance companies, patient organisations, and other partners. So that mental health services can focus their time on providing effective and innovative mental health care and maintaining high-quality standards. Mental health care has added value for patients and society, de Nederlandse ggz communicates this on behalf of its members."
