The EDG®, universally compatible with major plate and screw systems, uses a digital display and patented hook to deliver consistent and accurate results each time. The single-use device is sterile packaged, eliminating any risk of contamination. EDGE addresses a frustration in orthopedic surgery. The reusable depth gauge is difficult to read, and its hidden nooks, crannies, and narrow cannulations trap bioburden in places reprocessing tools cannot reach, increasing the risk of contamination.
