Rust Construction is a fourth-generation, family-owned design-build firm based in Alexandria, Virginia. For nearly a century, we've worked on homes across Alexandria, Arlington, and Washington, DC. We specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, additions, whole-home renovations, historic remodeling, and custom homes. Older homes are our sweet spot. We care about the details: structure, comfort, energy performance, craftsmanship, and respect for what a house was originally trying to be. We also care about the experience of renovation: clear communication, honest process, realistic expectations, and clients who feel informed at every step. We take the work seriously. We don't take ourselves too seriously. If you like design and construction, enjoy solving problems, and want to keep getting better at what you do, you'll fit in here.
