Welcome to the LinkedIn profile of the Department of Zoology of the University of Johannesburg. We are a dynamic and research active department. Our primary research focus areas include Aquatic Toxicology and Physiology, Cave Ecology, Parasitology, Population Genetics and Respiratory Physiology. We offer academic courses and programmes on both undergraduate (Zoology and Physiology) and postgraduate levels (Honours, Masters and Doctoral degrees), including a tutored master’s programme in riverine and wetland ecosystem management.
